Privacy policy
Short version: no cookies, no tracking, and your databases stay on your computer.

Who is responsible
The controller of personal data is Letsnet s.r.o., Žacléřská 147/13, Kbely, 197 00 Praha 9, Czech Republic, Company ID 02973847 (see the legal notice). Contact: [email protected].
This website
- The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party services – no fonts, scripts or trackers from other servers.
- Like every web server, ours records technical data of each request (IP address, time, requested page, browser). We use it only to run and protect the website and keep it no longer than needed for that.
The BsonJet application
- Your data stays on your computer. Saved connections, passwords, SSH keys and API keys are stored locally, encrypted with your password. Shared team connections are stored encrypted in a MongoDB database of your choice. We never receive any of it.
- No telemetry. The application does not send usage statistics.
- Update check. On start the application downloads the public file
bsonjet.com/latest.jsonto tell you about a new version. Like any download, this request reveals your IP address to our server; nothing else is sent. - MongoDB releases. The server overview downloads the public list of MongoDB versions from
downloads.mongodb.org(operated by MongoDB, Inc.) to tell you when your servers run an outdated version. Nothing is sent. - AI assistant. It is off until you enter your own API key. Requests then go directly from your computer to the provider you chose – Anthropic or OpenAI – under that provider's terms; they never pass through us. Your questions and the schema of your collections (field names and types) are sent. Data from your database is sent only after you confirm it, and you can preview exactly what would be sent.
Buying a license
- Payments are processed by Stripe through Link, the merchant of record of the purchase: Link collects your billing details, handles the taxes and sends you the receipt and the invoice. We do not see your card details.
- From Stripe we receive your name, e-mail and – when you buy as a company – the company name. We use them to issue the license key, which contains them, and to send it to you. The license records are stored in Tabidoo, which processes them for us.
- The application checks the license key by itself, without contacting us. Leaked keys are blocked through the public list in
latest.json, so the application still sends nothing. - We keep purchase records as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Legal basis
We process personal data to fulfil the license contract, to meet legal obligations (accounting, tax) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and protecting our services.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. Write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
